UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said he hopes Israel will implement its decision by ordering the country to take action to prevent genocide acts in Gaza.
In a statement by UN chief Stephanie Dujaric's spokesman, Guterres reiterated the legally binding nature of the JND decisions, adding that he believes “that all sides will properly observe the Order of Court”.
The UN chief has repeatedly called for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza, expressing deep concern for the high number of reported civilian victims and the <x0 disaster “humanitarian framework.
