The next year was by no means easy for the Kosovo Police.
The attack on Banjska took the life of a police officer, as members of the police faced all kinds of crime and violation of the law.
In an interview for IndexOnline, Police Union Chairman Imer Zeqiri has indicated that many police officers have been injured during the official duty.
Even police officers, according to Zeqiri, have suffered serious injuries that have led to disability. In addition to the most diverse injuries and cases each day, Zeqiri shows that failure to meet basic working conditions has been the reason for some officials to leave police uniforms.
He even fears leaving police officers after visa liberalisation. Regarding the latter, Zeqiri says they are doing their best to persuade police officers to stay in their noble profession.
