The White House said that more than 2,000 ships have been forced to make thousands of miles of diversion to avoid the Red Sea because of attacks by rebels, which affected more than 50 countries. He also said that crews from more than 20 countries were either taken hostage or threatened byoth robbers.
“We will make sure that, along with our allies, we respond to the noses, if they continue this cruel behaviour”, Biden said.
Asked if you believe Huth is a terrorist group, Biden replied: “I think it's”.
Huth has said that their goal of sailing the Red Sea aims to support Palestinians and Hamasin the Palestinian group declared terrorist organisations by the United States and the European Union.
Rebels spokesman Yahya Saree, in a recorded speech, said 73 attacks hit five Yemeni regions under their control, killing five people and wounding six others.
