Former European Integrations Minister Mimoza Ahmetaj has declared that Prime Minister Albin Kurti's position to share dialogue with Serbia with the EU integration process was ignorant, amateur and “tegation that the government has failed in this regard”.
According to the former minister, Serbia had taken this stance long ago, while she stressed Kurt's statement was very strange.
Kurt's statement to separate dialogue from integration was a clear message of government failure in terms of dialogue. Who is that bright mind that has told Kurt to be declared so”, she said on Thursday at the “60 Minutes” of KTV.
The former minister has added that “through the dialogue process has tried to solve problems with Serbia”.
“We have lobbied to be the main condition for Serbia and they are forced to impose all agreements on a document to review with the European Commission and the EU to fulfil obligations. Kurt's statement was the biggest surprise, from my perspective as a former minister, has been a clear message of the overall failure of this government in relation to dialogue. Presenting failure, fleeing responsibility, the agreements that were made with sanctions, we return and tell him that we need dialogue, we want to separate it from integration”, the former state official has added further.
She has added that Prime Minister Kurti and the negotiating team “are showing the total ignorance in the dialog”, until she mentioned that Kurti's statement was about the internal opinion that “ne s unjustly want to deal with the dialog”
“What remains to come from Brussels is the condition and deadline when Kosovo drafts the Association statute... Kosovo is seen as an amateur and ignorant party losing responsibility when it comes to implementing commitments. He's trying to find strategies to get away from his decisions. Because of failed policy, Kosovo is paying its bills. We have lost access to capital investments through sanctions”, Ahmetaj stressed.
