The 34-year-old death after it fell from the hotel in Gracanica, what's going on with the investigation?

The 34-year-old case, Artila Kameri, who died after allegedly falling from a hotel in Gracanica, continues to remain a mystery. In the early morning hours of December 28, a woman was found dead under a hotel in Gracanica. The victim is Artela Cameri, a 34-year-old from Gjakova, who owned a business to fix nails.

According to the Kosovo Police, allegations are that the same had fallen from the second floor of the hotel.

“Graqanica / 28,12.23 Police units after accepting the information that a person allegedly fell from the second floor of a hotel, went out to the scene and found the female victim who was suspected without signs of life, while the medical team has ascertained her death”, the police report said.

The circumstances of how Cameri died have not yet turned white. The media have reported that the same was in the hotel with a 32-year-old girl from Peja and that the pair had a verbal crash just before the tragic event happened. These reports have never been confirmed by the authorities.

The Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor has told Gazeta Express that along with the police, the investigation is continuing. Other information has said that they cannot share in maintaining the integrity of the process. They haven't shown how the case has qualified.

When you ask your questions, we inform you that the State Prosecutor in co-ordination with the police is continuing with the investigation of this case, so at this stage we cannot provide further information because of maintaining the integrity of the investigative process”, the Pristina Constitutional Prosecutor's Prosecutor's Office, Laureta Ulaj, has declared.

A similar case had occurred in August of last year. A 27-year-old from Argentina had died after falling from the sixth floor of an object in Fushe Kosovo.

Her boyfriend Andrew Nikaj had been arrested in the case. It is alleged that the same man had hunted the Argentinist from the sixth floor after a disagreement.

Andrew Nica is now in custody. The Swiss newspaper “Blic” has reported that the 32-year-old had illegally placed his girlfriend in Kosovo, hiding her in the trunk of the car.
