Over 10,000 euros confiscated smuggled goods

Kosovo's Anti-Truggling Units, in co-operation with the Constitutional Prosecutor in Gjakova, have conducted an operation at a phone trading store in the town of Gjakova.

This operation has resulted in the seizure of a series of equipment, including telephones, hand watches and other monitoring devices, which the party lacked documentation for and allegedly smuggled into.

According to Dogana, the value of the seized possession goes beyond 10,000.

This operation is conducted under the joint efforts of the Antichrontraband Units and the Basic Prosecutor for combating smuggling and illegal activities in the field of import and export. Kosovo Customs and the Constitutional Prosecutorship will continue to engage in law enforcement and fighting economic crime”, the Kosovo Customs Community says.
