The parliamentary, provincial, Belgrade elections and other municipal elections could be held on December 17th, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq announced tonight.
Regarding the opposition's demands for holding elections, he says he has fully accepted their idea.
“We have been ready for elections since 17 December”, Vuciq said, specifying that elections could be held that day as well.
Asked whether it is about extraordinary parliamentary elections and Belgrade elections, Vuciq said there will be parliamentary elections -- Belgrade, provincial and elections in several other municipalities, but not in the majority.
Asked if he'd be on the SNS list, he says it would be if he wanted something like that.
I talked to some people, some are pro, some are against. Although at the moment I don't think it's a key issue, you have to respect democracy and opposition parties, whatever you think of their work”, Vuciq said.
