Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has estimated that progress has not been made in the negotiations in Brussels because Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not want it.
He said Kurti does not want an agreement in which he would have to form association before the informal recognition of Kosovo, reports “Beta”, writes N1.
Vuciciqi stressed that he is particularly concerned about Kurt's statement that the Serbian List will suffer and pay, “which was passed without anyone's comment or conviction”.
The Serbian president added that European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell directly blamed Kurt for the failure of the negotiations, but that immediately the Germans said both sides were to blame, and then European Commission spokesman Peter Stano used the same formulation.
This is where things are. But I'm glad we still behave constructively. Of course I'm worried. Especially after such statements and direct threats of Albin Kurti, but I can say Serbia will not leave its people in northern Kosovo”, Vuciq stressed.
