Milorad Dodik, president of Republika Srpska in Bosnia and Herzegovina, had threatened the arrest of Christian Schmidt, High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Schmidt has earlier declared that”Dodick has no authority to authorize his arrest“.

Dodik has said Schmidt's security will tend security members, saying no power will be used against him.
Hans Bahristian Friedrich Schmidt is a German politician promoted by several members of the UN Security Council as High Representative for Bosnia and Herzegovina since August 2021. He's a member of the Christian Union.
