European Union rapporteur for Kosovo Violet von Cromon has condemned the attack in the north, where a Kosovo policeman was killed
Violet con Cremon has said the powerful presence of KFOR should be established in northern Kosovo.
It has called the attack orchestrated, as well as requested that the eventual participation of Serbian structures from Belgrade be investigated.
” Wants in the harshest possible terms the violent attack on the Kosovo Police and expresses my full solidarity with the people of Kosovo. The attack orchestrated on legitimate police forces is absolutely unacceptable, whose authors must be brought to justice”, she has said.
” The possible takeover of Serbian structures (from Belgrade) must be investigated, while all actions necessary to maintain calm and order are necessary. Therefore, I call on all actors to persuade the armed men at the Banjsca monastery to lay down their weapons and surrender without further delay”, said Violet con Croamon.
Furthermore, it has said that the government must take all measures deescalated.
He has also expressed condolences for the family of the murdered policeman.
