Britain's Defence Ministry has transferred command of a NATO Army battalion so that it can provide support in Kosovo if required.
“due to the current situation in Kosovo, we have transferred command of the First Battalion of the Royal Regiment of the Princess of Wales a reserve force for the NATO Force in Kosovo (KFOR) to NATO, so that it can offer support if it is required”, Britain's Ministry of Defence declared during the day.
On the other hand, US National Security Council's strategic communications co-ordinator, John Kirby, voiced Washington's concern, as he said, “the large deployment” of Serbia's troops along the border with Kosovo.
