The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has decided to dismiss Education Inspectorate General Director Defrem Gashi, General Director of the Students Centre, Fatmir Sfishta, and director of the Kosovo Pedagogical Institute, Nezir Cocaj, with the excuse that legal violations have been uncovered over the appointments and terms of their mandate
The Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation has made a decision to dismiss the three branch directors within the institution.
The general director of the Education Inspectorate, Defreym Gashi, is among the people who were dismissed.
The decision on his dismissal has been taken with the argument that serious violations of legal provisions have been revealed concerning the appointment and duration of the labour relationship.
Gashi was appointed to this position on October 3, 2016, while the law stipulates that the mandate in this position is three years old.
Also, with the same reasoning, student Centre General Director Fatmir Sfishta, who had been appointed to this position on 21 June 2012.
The law also requires that the mandate in this position be three years old.
In the end, Kosovo Pedagogic Institute Director Nezir Chocaj has also been dismissed from his post.
