Thousands of deaths suspected of flooding into Libya

Thousands of people allegedly died after powerful storms that caused floods in Libya.

The leader of the internationally unknown Eastern Libyan government said the deaths exceed two thousand, while thousands of others allegedly died.

Yalel Harchaou, a specialist from Libya, told the BBC that the death toll could be several thousand.

Seven members of Libya's army personnel disappeared during the bailout.

Eastern officials set up police hours while schools and shops were closed.
