Secretary NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, has announced that the North Atlantic Alliance has approved additional peacekeeping forces in Kosovo following riots in northern Kosovo. “Call on all parties that urgently de-tradition the” situation, Stoltenberg has declared, reports Sky News.

“We continue to call on Belgrade and Pristina to engage in dialogue enabled by the EU, as the only way to resolve unresolved issues and reach solutions that respect the rights of all communities”. “This is the key to lasting security in Kosovo and stability in the region”, NATO Secretary General Postponed.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti welcomed NATO's decision, saying Serbia wants to destabilise the region with Russia's help.

These people want to turn the clock around. They want to send the time back 30 years. But this will not happen”, Kurti said.

“We need NATO because the border with Serbia is very long, and the Serbian Army has recently strengthened its capacities and has many military equipment from both the Russian Federation and China”, the government's first added further. Otherwise, news of the deployment of NATO's additional troops became known Friday and comes after events in the country's north.
