Yesterday afternoon, Kosovo Minister of Interior Xhela Svechla announced that through northern Macedonia's ambassador to Kosovo, Joseph Hope, has accepted an agreement that his North Macedonian counterpart, Oliver Spaskovski, signed on the establishment of joint border points linking Kosovo and Northern Macedonia, which are two here in Han Elez and in Globoqica, under this agreement will become integrated management of the border between Kosovo and North Macedonian border police, where citizens will be legitimate and then they will be checked by Kosovo's future goods and the North Republic of Macedonia.
However, according to Minister Svechla's announcement, Kosovo and Northern Macedonia will reportedly have these joint border points from today. That's actually not true. Surely the Minister of Internal Affairs has meant that there is an agreement from today that has been signed by both sides, though not in a common country. So that deal or deal has said in the Republic of Kosovo through the ambassador of the Republic of Northern Macedonia, but the same has not yet begun to be implemented on the ground because at the moment we speak, we are at the border point in Han Elez, where controls would have to be conducted only on the side of Northern Macedonia, as this agreement says, so with joint police in joint control between citizens and also on customs controls in the territory of Northern Macedonia, and at the border crossing in Gbologqi would have to be conducted by Kosovo police and the Northern Macedonian territory of Kosovo.
This is not happening because actually citizens who are going from the Republic of Kosovo to Northern Macedonia are checking on both border points so far, even in the territory of Kosovo, and have not yet started to make technical preparations related to the implementation of this agreement because as we have taught unofficially, it would have to be for the police to move to the other border checkpoints and other technical equipment, and it is about the two border points here at Hanez, so that in Bla and Glla, which years have been built formally by the European Union to facilitate the border management that has been planned between the Kosovo's weather has already been planned by such a government, and the European Ministry has not yet been able to do things in the country's government's official order that it has yet planned in the weather and that the political police have yet to do so far more than the United States.
