The newborn has managed to survive and has been sent to the hospital for more specialized treatment.
The quake had a 6.8 degree, but it was followed by a trail of 4.9 about 19 minutes later. The Epicentra was in a rare area of the High Atlas Mountains, 70 miles [71 km] southwest of Marrakesh, a major tourist destination.
A newborn baby was found burned in a field. The child is alive and obedient to the hospital.
