Support from all men for Ceskenarist Lajcak: The president also met her after Kurt's accusations

Serious charges for the European mediator, Mr. Miroslav Lajcak had Prime Minister Albin Kurti two days ago at a news conference. But immediately, Lajcak received support and even had meetings with top local and international representatives, among them the president of Kosovo, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani... Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti accused the European mediator of dialogue [...]
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti accused the European mediator of dialogue for normalising reports with Serbia, that it is “available” against Kosovo.
During a media conference in Pristina, Kurti said that in the latest round of dialogue, he had a clear position of mediator against Kosovo in general, against the agreement [to normalise reports] in particular”, referring to EU special envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak.
Kurti said there seemed to be a co-ordination between the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vuciq, and Lajcak for, as he said, creating an alternative “skenari, where half of the agreement applies”.
The following “Days certainly will have meetings with all international factors, which have accepted the state of Kosovo and who want to help us, and support us in terms of democratic statehood, socioeconomic development, but also in terms of international recognitions, and in particular the normalisation of relations with Serbia, which we now have the solution: it is the Basic Agreement of mutual recognition de-facto”, Kurti said.
US, EU granted support to Lajcak shortly after this statement
The United States has full trust in the European Union in terms of dialogue mediation between Kosovo and Serbia.
So stated US Ambassador to Pristina Jeffrey Havenier, during a speech given at the second edition of the Peace and Democracy Summit being held in Pristina.
“The US has full trust in the EU in its dialogue mediation, the US has full confidence in [EU High Representative Josep] Borrell and the special representative [for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav] Lajcak, as objective implementers of this” policy, said Hovenier.
European Union spokesman, Peter Stano named it “x1 Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statements to EU envoy for dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, stressing that he has the support of all the bloc's member states.
“As far as Kurt's statements are concerned, we don't comment on them, especially when they contain baseless accusations. I think that EU member states have consistently reiterated their full support for EU Special Representative Miroslav Lajcak, as well as for high representative [ Josep Borrell]. They fully support their efforts to help Kosovo and Serbia reach the stage when they normalise the reports between them”, he said.
President also met Lajcak
At a meeting in New York, organised by European Union High Representative Josep Borrell, Kosovo's president was also seen, and in one of the photographs, Lajcak was also.
The EU calls: Kosovo-Serbia dialogue to continue on table, not in public, media
European Union spokesman Peter Stano has declared today at a news conference held for the media that the EU's expectations about Kosovo-Serbia dialogue have been disclosed in the joint declaration of the 27 members.
Stano said the EU's goal is to continue to develop dialogue where it belongs, namely at the negotiating table and not in the public and the media.
“Now belongs to both sides -- Serbia and Kosovo -- to make the greatest effort to achieve progress”, he said.
The EU spokesman stressed that he would not present details at the media conference because the EU does not conduct negotiations in public.
It shows that the European Union has an mediating role in dialogue and a role to help Serbia and Kosovo reach the necessary compromise that will lead to normalising their relationse. /Periscopi
