Within a car-free day, on September 22nd, the Pristina municipality has decided to extend the city square from the “George Bush” to the Flag Circle.
As it becomes known in a Facebook report, the “witness to the nation” will be closed to the vehicle flow from 10 to 15.
Citizens can rent, free of charge, one of the 160 bicycles and 60 trolleys on this road, Komuna has announced.
On Friday, September 22nd, from 10:00 in Pristina, activity will be organised “Carless Day”, an international event hosted in 2000 cities of the world, and aimed at encouraging citizens to use as little transportation vehicles as possible, and instead using public transportation or bicycles.
