The terrorist attack on Banjska, in which at least four people lost their lives, could radically change the situation in northern Kosovo.
Co-ordinators of “Noova” believe that “has spilled milk” ) the return of Serbs to institutions will not only decide them, but also Albin Kurti, his government and the Association of Serbian Communists for which the Brussels Agreement has been hired can definitely fall.
The terrorist attack of about 30 local Serbs on Kosovo police officers in Banjsk, and then raiding the monastery in that village, could dramatically change the situation in northern Kosovo.
The Serbian government, led by Aleksandar Vucic, broke out of involvement in that conflict, while Kosovo officials say the attack was carried out by a <x0-> terrorist and criminal reform”, which is financed financially and politically by Belgrade.
Nothing could be the same”, Albin Kurti said.
North to integrate into rest of Kosovo
Sreqko Djukiq, former ambassador and diplomat, says this event will certainly radically and radically change the situation in northern Kosovo.
He tells “Noova” that the return of Serbs to institutions is currently the issue not only of Serbs, but also of Albin Kurti and his processes and solutions.
“What is most important for Albanians will probably happen for Kosovo's north to be fully integrated into the rest of Kosovo. Admittedly, it was an open process with Serbs leaving the institutions. Now it is definitely shown that the north of Kosovo is an open wound and should heal early and heal it by doing everything that Kosovo's north does not change from south or west of Kosovo or east. ”, Djukiq believes.
He emphasises that a completely different view of Kosovo can occur and that Serbs can be marginalised, like Serbs in Croatia politically and numerically.
Kosovo will have to negotiate in another way, perhaps by another platform. There is a Serbian proverb's word for milk. Events in Banjska have changed everything, even though at the moment we do not know all the facts, but we do know the ideological and political picture of Belgrade and Pristina that was done prior to this event. And we can fill it, even though we don't have all the elements of that picture, but we can feel it”, says Djukkiq and adds that one of the conclusions is that both Belgrade and Pristina wanted this event, and the winner of this event is exclusively Pristina.
“
Aleksandar Popov, director of the Centre for Regionalism, believes the event in Banjska very complicated the situation. He says everything seems to have been shot in the leg, especially in the situation when Albin Kurti is labeled guilty in the West for disrespect of the agreement.
And for this to happen now... It is difficult to predict how the situation will develop. It is difficult to predict how further development will go. It is certain that the international community will strengthen its forces and will do all it can to keep the conflicts out of”, Popov says.
It's a real small war. A series of explosions, then silence, shots fired. He adds that it is difficult to imagine things turning to zero.
“Turn Serbs into institutions, police officers, organise elections... And everything goes back to Ohrid plan and guide”, Popov points out.
In recent months, Albin Kurti has been named the chief culprits for tensions among Western politicians, and now the eyes are on Belgrade. It is clear that Serbian authorities, primarily Aleksandar Vuciq, have controlled the situation in northern Kosovo and will be difficult to convince anyone that they have no connection to the armed conflict in Banjska.
