Former spokeswoman NATO, Jamie Shea, was invited this Saturday in an interview for Euronews Albania to talk about the situation created in northern Kosovo.
Former spokeswoman NATO, Jamie Shea, has talked about the September 24th terrorist attack on the Zvecan Banjsk, saying the criminal group didn't come from nothing, but someone has paid them and armed them.
Shea said that even though criminal Milan Radoicic is not the person in charge of the state of Kosovo, he may have been linked to intelligence services or paramilitary, who, according to him, may have helped financially and with weapons, the terrorist group that attacked the Kosovo Police.
“I hope President Vuciq will co-operate in an international investigation to understand where these 30 paramilitary soldiers came from and whether the government of Serbia and intelligence services, or Serbia's military, were involved in funding such an operation. Belgrade could take actions that could eliminate these specific groups, and I hope that this investigation will release this item”, Shea told Euronews, Klankosova.tv broadcasts.
On the other hand, he said Vuciqi has a good opportunity to show his will and participate in such an investigation.
And if there is evidence that there are paramilitary troops in Serbia that trafficking these weapons, it could take measures to destroy this organisation. However, I personally do not believe Serbia will join the EU before normalising relations with Kosovo. That certainly means recognition. I don't see such a thing”, the former NATO spokeswoman said.
