The Serbian List has reacted to the arrests of two Serbs. It has linked the arrest to politics by accusing Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
“Remember that the arrest of fellow countrymen, as well as the beating of youth in Gracanica, comes after Kurti refused to actively participate in dialogue and escalate the situation on the ground. Clearly, Kurt continues with his plan to resolve open political issues with violence and force. Serbs in Kosovo are treated as hostages in the negotiations process, where they can be persecuted whenever they want and with this send a message to the European Union that they can do anything”, the Serbian List's response reported.
The Serbian list has asked KFOR and EULEX to immediately prevent the intervention of special forces and other provocations from the Kurti regime, threatening peace and causing tension”.
