Interior Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla has indicated that Administration Director in the Leposaviqi municipality, once the son of Deputy Minister of the Ministry for Kthim and Community Nikola Radimirovic, has been arrested today by Serbia's police and sent to the Serbian police station in Rakes.
This announcement has been made in his Facebook account, reports Klan Kosova.
“Administration Director at the Leposavisic municipality once the son of the ministry's Deputy Minister for Kthim and Community Nikola Radimirovic, has been arrested today by Serbia's police and sent to the Serbian police station in Rashka. He and his fiancée are being held in custody for the only reason that Nicolaus is part of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, and that along with his father, they have consistently resisted pressure from Belgrade and their gangs”, Svechla's reaction said.
Svechla has said that this unfair arrest is also evidence of Serbia's government's destructive and destabilising approach and revenge following Kosovo's success achieved yesterday and their failure to stop the decision that Kosovo is a host of 2030 Mediterranean games.
We urge Belgrade to urgently release Director Radimirovic and his fiancée and to stop the pressures and illegal acts against Kosovo citizens, especially those of Serbian ethnicity who are loyal to their state, the Republic of Kosovo, and in the service of all its citizens”, it is said further in the reaction of the Minister of Internal Affairs.
