Serbian media report 19-year-old Kosovo stabbed at Serbia-Croatia border

Near the Serbia-Croatia border point found in the village of Batrovc in the Vojvodina region in Serbia has been reported by Serbian media that two young people from Kosovo have been attacked by some unknown persons.

One of them, 19 years old, has died from stabbed wounds, reports Serbian medium “Blic”.

Police in Sremska have confirmed that the body of an unknown person has been found and that the author “is intensively asking”.

Generally, according to information, police are looking for persons who on Tuesday 26 September attacked two young people at the entrance of the village of Batrovci and shot one of them -- nineteen-year-old Kosovo -- writes the Serbian media.

I saw a man and a group of people on the road across the border and a man running. Shortly thereafter, among the trucks, I saw another young man fallen. I wasn't sure what was happening, and we don't usually leave the truck on this side of the road, especially at night because there are immigrants hiding in the area. Police have arrived around 22:00 a.m., says a truck driver from Bosnia.

A man ran to the border and asked for help

No details are yet known, but it becomes known that these two persons who were attacked are from Kosovo.

They've crossed the “Batrovci” and set off on foot towards the village. One of them has managed to rescue a group of attackers, who, as we learn unofficially, have been attacked, perhaps by knives. A man who has escaped has run to the border and sought help.

The young man took some stab wounds in the body.

The man who managed to escape was transferred to the police station in Sed, where he recognized one of the attackers. As we learn, the police are in intensive search of an immigrant from Afghanistan.
