Former deputy head of O mission The SEU in Kosovo, Edward Joseph, has criticised the US Embassy in Serbia and American Ambassador Christopher Hill, for failing to respond to the call of the White House to defuse the situation between Kosovo and Serbia.
In his Twitter account, he has numbered the hours since the White House has reacted, saying that for over 10 hours, Ambassador Hill and the American Embassy in Serbia have not distributed the White House's reaction on Twitter.
The alarmed White House is calling on Serbia to withdraw its troops along the border with Kosovo. Secretary Blinken has underlined the need to de-excess tensions with Kosovo. Over 10 hours have passed, and neither has US Ambassador to Serbia Christophfer Hill nor the US Embassy in Serbia delivered crisis messages”, Joseph has written on Twitter.
Speaking in SAIS, Madeline Albright once said that “what matters most in diplomacy is what is publicly said”. Ambassador Hill has posted the last time on 26 September and the US Embassy in Serbia on 26 September. If it were you instead of President Vuciq, what message would you have received?”, he asked.
We remember that on Sunday (24.09.23) a Serbian military formation committed a terrorist attack on the Kosovo Police in Zvecan Banjsk, where a Kosovo Police Sergeant lost his life.
