On Saturday, the movement of a military convoy in southern Serbia has been observed, from Vranje's direction towards Nis, near the town of Predejan, following concerns Washington and Brussels voiced the shift of Serb forces along the border with Kosovo.
The town of Predeyan lies 300km south of Belgrade and about 100km from the nearest border crossing between Serbia and Kosovo, Merdara.
The column of Serbian Army vehicles, as Radio Free Europe Radio reporter points out, was moving from south to north.
Displacement of Serb troops along the border with Kosovo comes about a week after the September 24th attack on the Kosovo Police in Zvecan Banjska, where a police official was killed.
Serbia has denied Kosovo's accusations that it is involved in this attack, named terrorist by Kosovo authorities. / REL
