The United States of America opposes efforts to equalise the murder of Kosovo Sergeant Africa Bunnjak, with attackers “being involved in its”.

So American State Department spokesman Matthew Miller told Radio Free Europe about the question about how the US names the people who attacked the Kosovo Police in Banjska in Zvecan on 24 September.

We've been very clear: The US strongly condemns co-ordinated and violent attacks on the Kosovo Police on 24 September, and we express condolences to the family of Kosovo Police Sergeant who was killed during the post. We oppose efforts to equate the tragic death of Kosovo Police Sergeant [Afrim] The twin with the death of individuals involved in the murder of a police officer. Responsibilities must be brought to justice through a transparent investigative process. This investigation is under way”, Miller said.
