Reeker: We want to see Kosovo better

Ambassador Philip Reeker, former senior US official, has said normalising Kosovo-Serbia relations will offer the Western Balkans more security and development.

These statements Reeker made at the “Dialog conference with Serbia”, which is held in Pristina.

We want to see more prosperity in this region, that's our goal, that's our policy and that's how it remains. We want to see the Western Balkans better, Kosovo better. We want to see a full, free and at peace”, he said.

While, Baroness Catherine Ashton in her speech stated that Kosovo is very important to her, while he reiterated that the Kosovo dialogue process has never been easy.

“I hope you realize that the time spent in dialogue has been difficult. The future of this region is in the European Union, it's better for the economy, for youth development, etc.”, it stressed, broadcast the telegraph.
