Rama also mentioned Kosovo before guests in the context that “we are a very special case because we are a small nation, but with two states, Albania and Kosovo and Albanians live everywhere”.
And we really hope that this initiative will develop and this bridge between all willful people, willful companies, willful organizations and the United Nations will be built over the prejudice that is there, that the United States is slow and so forth, but we hope that this will develop. When we were struck by the earthquake, we were blessed that we had friends and that we were not left alone by the European Union, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and many others who helped us as from the very first moment it was extraordinary to see rescue teams coming from all over Europe and even Israel helping with the rescue of people still alive under the rubble. So it was remarkable to see Albanians from all places where we live, because we are a very special case because we are a small nation, but with two states, Albania and Kosovo and Albanians live everywhere and you know perhaps better than I do than if you want to eat well, go to a good Albanian restaurant in New York and all their help was extraordinary”, Rama said among other things.
