Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has said he joins the US government's call for an immediate de-pass on the border between Kosovo and Serbia.
Rama has said it calls on Kosovo and Serbia's leadership to act discreetly.
The head of the Albanian government has said Albania is committed to Kosovo's security and stability.
“Albania joins the US government's call for immediate access to the border between Kosovo and Serbia. I call on the leadership of Kosovo and Serbia to act with responsibility and caution. Albania is committed to Kosovo's security and stability”, Rama has written.
This response by the head of the Albanian government comes after the US statement of increasing the number of Serbian soldiers at the border with Kosovo and Washington's demand for their withdrawal.
