According to the AKS, consumer prices in August have risen by 3.2 per cent compared to August of last year.
The overall harmonised consumption prices “is higher at an average of 3.2% in August 2023 compared to August 2022. This is mainly explained with the establishment of consumer prices in this period in groups and subgroups of COICOP: vegetables (28.0%), trees (11.4%), furniture, household equipment and household maintenance (7,2 %), alcoholic beverages, tobacco (6.3%), nonalcoholic drinks (5.7%), purchase of vehicles (5.1%), bread and cereal (4.5%), electricity, gas and other fuels (45 ), services for transport (4.4%), meat and milk, cheese and eggs ( 2,4%, with an impact of these impacts for 3.4% IHCHCHS, the ACHS report is said in Turkey.
“As prices drop is seen in COICOP groups and subgroups: oils and fats (-14.5%) and solid fuel, firewood, diapers, etc. (-3.7%) and with a common impact on these subgroups of -0.2 percent on IHCK”, the notice says further.
While compared to July of this year, consumer prices in August have increased by 1 per cent.
The overall harmonised consumption prices “is higher at an average of (1.0) in August 2023 compared to July 2023. This is mainly explained with the establishment of consumer prices of COICOPI: flight tickets (84 %), fuels and lubricants for personal transport equipment (5.3 %), vegetables (4.8 %), transportation services (4.7%), furniture, house appliances and household maintenance equipment (1.2%), automobile purchase (1.1%), and alcoholic beverages, tobacco (09 %) with a common impact of these subgroups 1,00 per cent for IHCH1x>, the ASC report is said.
