He will be welcomed by Interior Minister Alain Berset, who holds the rotating Swiss presidency this year.
Current regional issues in the Western Balkans and bilateral relations between Switzerland and Kosovo will be a topic of discussion.
On the evening of his visit, Kurti will hold a meeting at the Kosovo Embassy in Bern with Albanian-speaking candidates for the House of Representatives, writes Le Canton27.ch.
While in Switzerland, he will also meet with exiles in several cantons.
Days earlier in Swiss media such as Argauer Zeitung and Blick had reportedly Kurt will campaign for SP in Switzerland.
According to these reports, the Social Democrat Party in Switzerland has set up a panel discussion that will be held in September in Zurich, where Prime Minister Albin Kurti is expected to speak.
This possible presentation of Kurt is being seen as a campaign for the Social Democratic Party there under elections to be held on 22 October for the National Council.
