Police Increase in Schools

Police in the Gjilan region have announced that they have increased the presence of police officials in schools and around their environments with the aim of developing the normal learning process in schools and traffic safety near schools.

Within this context, police have drafted the operational plan, security in schools, which envisions concrete steps to ensure a safe environment for all students, teachers and school staff, including police co-operation and the engagement of the school community.

The “In this case is planned to have increased police presence in all schools and around their facilities with the aim of preventing any possible criminal act”, the report said.

Measures have also been established for implementation of projects and awareness campaigns aimed at preventing negative phenomena and increasing the level of security in school environments.
