Kosovo Police Director Gazmend Hoxha has said that about 30 people involved in the attack on Kosovo Police in the north have managed to flee the Banjska Monastery on foot.
Hoxha said they left 24 vehicles behind, one of which was armoured. Inside these cars, Hoxha said large quantities of different calibre weapons were found.
The other alleged <x0 persons that based on security images could have been about 30 persons managed to walk out of space and around the Banjska monastery, leaving behind their vehicles, which during the examination of the site of the event, resulted in 24 vehicles, an armoured vehicle, and two four - wheeled engines, in which vehicles were located in large quantities of the weapons of different calibre”, Hoxha declared at the joint conference with Minister Jelal Slac.
At the scene, Hoxha said the bodies of three people killed were found, equipped with long arms and dressed in military uniforms.
“During the examination of the scene, in spaces in and around the Banjska Monastery, the bodies of three people killed in the process of verification, allegedly killed during the shootout with Kosovo Police teams, have been found. The people killed were equipped with long arms and wore uniforms and other military equipment”, Hoxha said.
