Five people died yesterday in traffic accidents, and three were seriously injured.

Five people have remained dead and three others with serious injuries as a result of three traffic accidents, which occurred during yesterday in Kosovo. Accidents occurred in Gracanica, Podujevo and Pec.

The first accident took place around 16:30, on Llapnelle-Gracanica Street, where one person died and another was seriously injured.

Kosovo Police spokeswoman for the Pristina Region Flora Ahmeti has confirmed the case, until she has indicated that two cars have been involved in the accident, which have been on the move.

“Today, at about 4:30 p.m., we have received the information that a fatal accident has taken place on Llapnelle Street. Two vehicles that were on the move were involved in this accident. As a result of a physical accident, two people have suffered, one of them has been unable to endure injuries, and the same has passed away. The medical team in KKUK has recorded death. In case the investigation is being taken from the field traffic unit”, Ahmeti said.

Two others have died as a result of a suicide in Podujevo.

Even this case has been confirmed by Ahmeti, who suggested that even one person has been severely hurt.

“Today, around 20:30 on the road connecting the village of Sfeqel with the village of Shaykovc of Podujevo, there has been a traffic accident involving a car. Another fatal accident occurred in the village of Ozdrim, Pec. As a result of this accident, two people have died, and another person has been severely injured, who has been sent to Peja Hospital for treatment.
