Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has hosted a meeting of Germany's Federal Republic special envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.
At this meeting, Osmani and Sarrazin talked about recent developments in the north following the terrorist attack by Serb criminal groups resulting in the death of a police officer and the hurt of several others.
Osmani said terrorist acts and acts of aggression in the north are orchestrated and implemented by Belgrade-backed structures.
“Such actions constitute a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Kosovo and for these actions should sanction Serbia”, Osmani said.
The country's first added that Kosovo has taken action in recent months to expand the situation in the country's north.
Kosovo's “Police have shown high professionalism in dealing with Serbian criminal groups”, she stressed.
It stressed the importance of supporting international allies and continuing co-ordination with them in their efforts for peace, security and lasting stability.
The Kosovo Police's “actions against the illegal structures of Vuciki criminal groups are legitimate, in carrying out their constitutional duties and in protecting all citizens, indiscriminately”, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said.
