At this meeting with Hovenier, Osmani has said Serbia is clearly directly involved in the terrorist attack, one way or another.

On the other hand, she has stressed that the Serbian state must take responsibility by demanding punishment and imposing sanctions on Serbia.

The president has stressed that for this terrorist attack and the act of aggression on Serbia's part must be responsible for the Serbian state. She has also said she hopes that after the Allied states complete their internal procedures to confirm information concerning the latest attack on Kosovo, they will take concrete measures and sanctions against Serbia, due to its direct evolution into this attack, whether it is inciting, organising or facilitating its 148x1>, the Presidency communique reports.

Osman has also thanked the United States for its support in this tragic period for Kosovo.

The Vice President, meanwhile, has thanked the Allies, primarily the United States, for supporting and solidarity following the assassination of police sergeant, Kosovo hero Africa Bunnjak, as well as the co-operation and support of security institutions at this time when Kosovo's national security is being severely challenged.

Ambassador Havenier has once again expressed the most sincere condolences for the sergeant's murder.

Asked by online newspaper reporter Reporter.net that whether the United States describes Sunday's attack on the Kosovo Police as terrorist, Havenier has said she cannot speak much more than 48 hours after the attack but named it a “serious and very serious fight against Kosovo and its people.

I can say that this was a serious criminal attack on Kosovo, but the US continues to call for continued dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia”, Havenier said.
