Osman in New York meets the King of Jordan: Co-operation in the Field of Defence

In this context, President Osmani has extended the need for further support from the Jordan Kingdom in Kosovo's efforts to ensure membership in international organisations and recognition by Arab countries, the presidency's announcement said.
President Osmani and King Adullah II discussed the current situation in Kosovo and the region, while both sides reaffirmed commitment to peace and stability.
According to President Osmani, there is potential for co-operation in the field of defence between the two states.
“in this context, it cited the fact that a team of Jordanian soldiers has recently been trained in our Research and Salvation Training Centre”.
Furthermore, President Osmani said that “Kosovo is interested in developing close relations with Jordans in areas of mutual interest, such as economy, trade, defence, culture, education and tourism. The two leaders expressed optimism about the future of co-operation between the two states”, the announcement said.
