Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani, who is staying in New York where the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly is being held, at a ceremony held in the Consulate of Kosovo, has decorated with the Order of Freedom, former corruptionist, former head of the Albanian-American League, Kosovo's great friend, contributor to our freedom and independence, Joe DioGuardi, and activist Shirley Closeogouar.
According to President Osmani, the Order is a thank-you to Kosovo's citizens for their unbroken work, for their extraordinary contribution and constant commitment to freedom, democracy, and Kosovo's independence, and as the continued advancement of relations between Kosovo and the US.

Joe Diogardi's debut has coincided with his 83rd birthday, which President Osmani congratulated on and stressed that “Joe personifies America, our permanent ally, just as President Dr. Ibrahim Rugova”
According to President Osmani, Joe and Shirley are extraordinary contributors and great friends of Kosovo.
