On Monday, orthopedic Sami Delijay, a doctor at KKUK, was arrested under suspicion of taking bribes.
In the police report, it is said that from the same in quality evidence a amount of money, a mobile phone as well as some medical equipment has been seized.
Delijaj has been arrested under the order of the State Prosecutor, who have claimed that the RS Department of Criminals -- namely, the Economic Crime and Corruption Unit -- has ordered the detention of the person with the S.D. initials, in the quality of the doctor at the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo (QKUK), due to the suspicion that he carried out the criminal work “taking the bribe”.
Following Delijaj's arrest, Kosovo's University Clinical Service has warned the move-making company over the case.
The SKKKUK Directorate is carefully following this situation and will take all legal action. Lawbreakers have no place in public health institutions”, SKKKUK said in a response Monday.
Orthopedic Delijay, in 2018, joined the party NISMA Social Democrat.
