“Murder, war crimes, fraud”, police report extradition of several persons to Kosovo

Kosovo police have announced several activities of extraditions, transfers and deportations of people who have come against Kosovo law.

According to police, these activities are conducted in co-operation with international police.

Kosovo's “Police, respectively, Directorate for International Police Co-operation (ILECU), within the framework of the commitments and legal duties of international co-operation with other states, over the past period supported by other police units, has successfully realised several extraditions, transfers and deportations of various persons who have fallen apart with law”, the report said.

Kosovo Police, respectively, Directorate for International Police Co-operation (ILECU), under the commitments and legal duties of international co-operation with other states, over the last period supported by other police units, have successfully realised several extraditions, transfers and deportations of different persons who have fallen apart with the law, thus:

• On the date of 13,09,2023, it was extradited from Albania, the person with the initials A.K., citizen of RKS, wanted by international arrest warrant by our authorities for the criminal work “Misery”.

• By the 1509,2023, it was extradited from Germany, the person with the initials L.T., citizen of RKS, wanted by international arrest warrant by our authorities for criminal work “put to death”.

• On the 18th,09,203th, a penetrate of a Spanish citizen has been realized, who has stayed in the RKS without a document. This insight is realised with Albania's mediation.

• On the 1909.2023 basis, the transfer of the person sentenced by Italy to Kosovo has been carried out. Person transferred with initials H.I., citizen of RKS, sentenced to 22 years in prison by Italy for the drug trafficking work, will now spend the rest of its punishment in Kosovo prisons.

• On the date 22,09.23, following co-ordination and exchange of mutual information, Montenegro authorities have arrested the wanted person with an international warrant with the M.K. initials, citizen of the Serbian Nationality RKS, wanted by our authorities for criminal work “The arrested person is in the process of extradition from Montenegro to Kosovo under legal procedures.

• On the 2609,2023 date, it has been extradited from Montenegro to the USP's initials, citizen of the RKS, wanted by international warrant by our authorities for criminal work “Reside”.

• On the date 28. 09.23, the man with the A.B. initials, citizen of Germany has been extradited from Germany. RKS, wanted by international arrest warrant by our authorities for criminal activity “Using official task”.

Kosovo police through the Directorate for International Police Co-operation (ILECU) have continued to advance international co-operation with institutions of law enforcement of other states and international police and security organisations, aimed at arresting wanted persons under international warrants, extradition or bringing them to justice bodies, such co-operation and co-ordination will continue in the future.
