Friday dinner on September 8th for Yassin Noumghari remained almost intact, while his life and his family was turned upside down. Within seconds, the dinner table was buried under the ruins of their home already turned into ruins.
This is where we sat for dinner and everything happened within five seconds”, indicates Mr. Noumghar.
Other residents say there are still people left in ruins.
There are still people buried here in this house, they didn't get the help they needed and died. I saved my kids and I'm trying to find blankets and something to wear for them, says Hussein Adnai, another survivor.
The village of Moulay Brahim is one of the most destroyed by the earthquake that took over 2,000 lives, while rescue teams' operations continue to search for more survivors.
The Interior Ministry announced Sunday's breakfast for over 2,000 deaths and over 2,000 injured, saying over 1400 are in critical condition. The World Health Organisation said more than 300,000 people have been affected by the disaster.
The quake's epicentre was about 72km southwest of Marrakesh, a city known for mosques and medieval buildings and attracts many tourists.
“We were staying in Marrakesh and in our hotel all the people were sleeping outside the pool because they were afraid of the blasting of the”, reports Mrs. Kirsten Dixon, who was staying in Marrakesh for a business matter.

On Sunday, Pope Francescu offered prayers and solidarity for the victims of Morocco's deadliest earthquake in more than six decades.
I want to express my proximity to Morocco's loved ones, struck by a devastating earthquake. I pray for the hurt, for those who have lost their lives and for their relatives. I thank the Saviors and all those who are working to alleviate human suffering. We stay with the people of Morocco”, Papa Francisescu said.
Morocco has proclaimed three days of mourning and King Mohammed VI called on Sunday to pray for the dead at mosques throughout the country. / VOA
