A member of the Kosovo Police, who has been injured during the action in the village of Banjska in Zvecan, is being treated at the South Mitrovica General Hospital.
The director of this hospital, Luljeta Butkinca Jubi, told Radio Free Europe that the injured police are staying in the hospital, as an operation will be under way tomorrow.
“E we have a member of the police, who's wounded by the shells. In consultation with the surgeon, it has been found that he must undergo an intervention”, Joubi said.
She said that since the early hours of the morning, six members of the Kosovo Police have been treated at the General Hospital in South Mitrovica.
Some of the wounded/infirmed have been transferred to Pristina and others have been released home”, Zhubi said.
