Minister Haxhiu reacts after violence against minors: Not to be tolerated

Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu has reacted after violence against minors at a nursery in Fushe Kosova.

Haxhiu says that mental and physical violence, against a three-year-old, is punishable and should not be tolerated.

“As justice organs are currently handling the case, Kosovo's Fushe Community through the Centre for Social Affairs should offer every service to help the child and family”, Haxhiu has said.

According to Haxhiu so that these cases do not repeat, municipalities should be aware of the importance of social services.

“QPS along with schools and gardens, and not only, are institutions that can prevent such cases”, Haxhiu has said further.

She says, among other things, that the Ministry of Justice will provide the necessary support to the child and family's best interest.
