Memli Krasniqi: Kosovo is under attack, we all have to lead our responsibilities

Democratic Party of Kosovo Chairman Memli Krasniqi, today at the Assembly session, has said that on Sunday, the Republic of Kosovo faced a disversant terrorist attack, set by the Serbian state.

So, according to him, today, above all, cannot be talked about domestic political battles because they have a more important topic ahead of them: Kosovo!

“And, Kosovo, honored colleagues, today is under attack and we, all of us, without exception, should be in charge of our duties and responsibilities.

Leader of The PDK has said it is completely clear that the organisation and orchestrating of the terrorist attack on the Republic of Kosovo has its main address in Belgrade.

“Confirmation of Milan Radojciki's involvement in this action, sophisticated and numerous terrorist weapons, their refuge in Serbia following their attack and elevated as heroes from Belgrade's official institutions, including today's Black Day proclamation of mourning to them, has said Krasniqi.

He has said that today, before all, it is extremely important that Kosovo seek the extradition of terrorists who planned and carried out the terrorist attack on our state. In this respect, I request the full support of our international allies, who must step up pressure on Serbia to hand them over.

The handover of terrorists by the Serbian state, led by criminal Milan Radojciq to Kosovo authorities, should be the first step forward. They must receive the deserved punishment for the crime they have committed in Kosovo. Our fallen hero, Sergeant Africa Bulnjak, deserves justice and it is our moral duty to ensure that those responsible face the consequences”, Memli Krasniqi said.

He has said that in challenging periods like this, when territorial integrity is violated, the sovereignty of our state and the security of our citizens, for The PDK, as it has always been, the country's national interest is and will remain above all.

“Like the PDK, we have offered our full support to all security institutions in dealing with this situation. Our objective is to protect our homeland and ensure the safety of any Kosovo citizen, regardless of religion or ethnicity. Therefore, in this period, it is essential that all political factors, namely those Albanians, put aside disagreements and stay together in support of our country”, the opposition leader has said.

Memli Krasniqi has said there will be another time for internal battles, but today is time for solidarity.

Krasniqi has called on the international community to launch an international emergency investigation to prove the Serbian state's involvement in the terrorist attack on Kosovo. We are already convinced but we want the international community to be convinced with facts.

The full truth of this case has become white and Serbia gets due punishment, Serbia can't be either loving or trusting in any kind of process before. It is vital that the International Community recognise Serbia's continued aggression towards Kosovo, as it is continuing to violate our integrity and territorial sovereignty” Krasniqi has said.

At the end of his speech, Krasniqi has expressed his respect for the country's security organs, specifically for the Kosovo Police.
