Marked 10th anniversary of Women Leadership in Politics, Osman in New York talks about the role of women in Kosovo

In an address to other women leaders, President Osmani spoke of women's engagement and prominent role in different ages of country development history.

She said that Kosovo, in its 15 years of independence, stands out for women's leadership in politics, until it stressed the importance of continued co-operation and networking with the aim of empowering women in public life.

The Presidency Office reports that in this address, Osmani said Kosovo is proving to be a leading country in the leadership of the Agency for Women, Peace and Security and stated that empowering women in the field of security, as well as in other areas, is the best opportunity to advance society overall.

It is staying in New York, where the 78th session of the United Nations Assembly is being held.
