Analyst Agon Maliqi has commented on Prime Minister Kurti's statement, which today said the new elections do not confirm the opposition, as it “looks”.
Maliqi said that with this statement Kurti is showing that he did not learn from his predecessors' mistakes in leadership positions, as according to him, Kosovar voter shows understanding but condemns the pride or conviction of leaders that they can win “hand in pockets”.
With this statement today that “does not want to hold elections because it does not want the disappearance of the opposition”, Kurti is showing that he probably did not learn from the mistakes of his predecessors in leadership positions. Kosovo voter is quite understanding, but more than anything would punish arrogance, or convincing leaders that they could win “with hands in their pockets” even without producing results”, Maliqi wrote.
