The European Union's Emisari for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has written on Twitter for the meeting he had in Brussels with Besnik Bissim, Kosovo's deputy prime minister.
At this meeting, preparations for the summit next week have been discussed between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
According to Lajcak, the main focus was on how to advance normalisation of relations.
Thank you DPSM @Bislimi Besnik for the meeting in Brussels today. We had a long and essential discussion in preparing next week's Summit of Higher Dialogue. Our main focus was on how to advance the normalisation of relations”, Lajcak wrote.
The meeting between Kurti and Vuciqi comes after months ago in Kosovo's north has had high tension because the Serbian List had boycotted the April elections of four northern municipalities.
