Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has made a special wish for the start of the new school year for all students, teachers and parents.

In his message, he has stressed the importance of this moment, especially for young students who for the first time sit at school banks.

In particular, I wish all the students who for the first time sit in school banks. For them today, a new journey begins, which will determine their future, but also the state of Kosovo” has written Kurti on the social network, Facebook.

Kurti has expressed conviction that this new period will be an important route for the future of students and for the future of Kosovo.

He has cited the Ministry of Education's new decision to provide needed textbooks and school materials through parents.

To fulfill our obligation to provide textbooks, we have chosen a new route this year. And as no year ago, besides textbooks, we are also sharing additional tools for school materials needed for our students”, he wrote away.

Kurti has made a detailed presentation of Government decisions that, according to him, have improved education in the country.

He cited expanding dual education in several different profiles, helping link education and the economy, as well as investments in educating children of early age.

“While we have adopted the Law on Education in Early Child, we have finalised the curriculum for early childhood education and are investing in increasing children's involvement at this level of education”, Kurti wrote among other things.

Kurti has completed his message with an invitation for effort and commitment to achieve a quality education that will help young people develop its potential and realise their dreams and goals.

Even the president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, has congratulated the start of the new school year for students.

By means of a new Facebook post, Osman wrote that this time represents a time for endless growth and learning.

The children in Kosovo today return to school as first-graders start a new exciting chapter on their travels. May we best wish our fine young minds all over our country, as they dive into this new academic year a time for endless growth and learning!” wrote Osmani.

As the President's Office announced, Osman stressed that the battle for knowledge never ends.
