Kurti meets with Swiss president, talk about recent developments in dialogue

The country's prime minister, Albin Kurti, has met with Swiss President Alain Berset, who talked about recent developments in the country.
Berset's Kurt also talked about dialogue, the current results of governance, but also about interstate relations between the two countries.
“Prime Minister Kurti expressed his deep gratitude for Switzerland's support in any stage of resistance, liberation, independence, statehood and development, as one of the first countries to recognise Kosovo”.
It continues today to support the state of Kosovo, including in the international arena, as witnessed with support for Kosovo's application for membership to the Council of Europe. He also thanked Switzerland for its role in defence and security, through the Swiss mission, within KFOR, which has recently continued the mandate until 2026”, the government's announcement said.
Furthermore, Kurti and Berset also talked about opportunities in areas with potential for deeper co-operation and new agreements that add it, in particular within the framework ofEFTA.
