Kurti meets with Albanian candidates of various Swiss parties for elections

Following a bilateral meeting with Switzerland's President, Alain Berset, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Hajrula Ceku, have met at the Kosovo Embassy building in Bern, Albanian candidates in the 2023 federal elections.

In an open conversation, Prime Minister Kurti reportedly commended them for their public and political engagement in Switzerland, viewing it as evidence of the well-being of Albanians there, but also as very important to democracy.

“Discussed on ties between Kosovo and Switzerland and the role and potential of co-operation between the Government and the exile in the field of economy, education and health”, the communiqué says.
